Snow
It's snowing. Big fluffy snowflakes. It's supposed to keep snowing and switch over to ice. Hopefully the ice does not come because I still have some Christmas shopping left to do.

Oh my gosh, will it ever stop snowing? I don't know how many inches we have but there's tons of snow, white-out conditions and ice everywhere. I got to see my "traction control" light on the Soul lit up for the first time. I have to say that little car does alright in the snow and ice.

And it begins...
While I'm trying to finish up the semester (finals week started yesterday), Mother Nature has decided to start the snow. It's pretty but I detest driving in it. I did find out that my Kia Soul handles pretty well in the snow.
Yesterday's snow:

Today's snow...yucky mess to drive in. And it's still falling.

Snow way (yes, my titles are always corny)
Yesterday afternoon/evening, we got a few inches of snow. I love looking out the window and seeing the snow. Driving in it, not so much. The slipping, the sliding, the winding up in a ditch....not so fun. But it sure is pretty when you are sitting inside snuggly warm watching it fall.

Today in pictures
Today we are snowed in. Not sure how many inches we got overnight. And it's still snowing. The kids didn't have school today but poor Josh had to go to work. Here's what I see when I look out my front door.

So the kids and I ordered pizza. Chicago style pepperoni from Rosati's. Yum!

Abby:

Gracie:

I hope wherever you are, you are warm! I am thankful to be inside all snuggled up. I can't wait until my hubby is home too.

The weather outside was frightful, but the snow was pretty!
This morning when I walked to school it was 5 degrees. I wore lotsa layers and was thankful for my pretty pink cashmere gloves.
Here is my new dark brown hair for my sister's wedding. I'm itching to put some pink in there and I shall after the wedding. Just a little more than a week and Atomic Pink and I have a date!
Hopefully my face clears up by next week. Since my thyroid hormone (TSH) is off, I'm having all sorts of symptoms: tired, dry skin, zits...yay!
But I thought I'd share with you all how it looked. It was so pretty.
This is the 10 foot high snow pile I parked next to.
